Rep Power: 4 | | | You have to spray water on your cat every time your cat does that. After at least one week he or she will stop that. |

Rep Power: 2 | | Get soft paws...they just go over the nails of the cat and the nails don't have to be removed. Here is a link Alternatives to Declawing, Nail Caps for Cats My cat has them and all of our furniture has been saved from certain doom. |

Most of the cats have their own will and do what they want and what's best for them. |

Rep Power: 1 | | | The reason your cat does this is to clean its claws and mark its territory. You could get its claws removed, however I do not reccomend it, I've heard some bad things about how it can hurt your cat. As with most training, watch the cat often and when it attempts to scratch on something immediately do something (such as spraying it with water) to stop the cat from doing it. Over time the cat will learn that bad things happen when I scratch something, so it will stop it, for the most part. Also, try and get a scratching post or something the cat CAN scratch on.

Rep Power: 4 | | | Ive hear of this spray that you use that gives a bad scent and keeps the cat away, something like bugspray but for cats and dogs... well I had it for my dog like 2 years ago and it worked. | | D3scene |
