Bacardi will become famous soon enough
Haha, those don't seem like too much of a problem to me . All dogs bark/get scared at the vacuum, and the dogs barking when the phone rings is probably a sign of defense.

I've got a chihuahua myself, It goes crazy when the vacuum cleaner starts going around, Or even if just a washing mop hits the floor, Or, If the door bell rings she go and bite the people ocmming over.

DarkRage is an unknown quantity at this point
Try this: When you get the dog as a puppy, train it really well. Then once its older, it wont do anything of that kinda crap... I have 2 dogs, one is a black lab and the other is a great dane. Both very good at listening, neither go crazy over a vacuum or phone ringing or anything. The only thing they bark about is when someone gets to the door because thats what I have trained them to do. Pretty much to solve the problem is dont let it start in the first place.
