Managing your Resident Evil 5 inventory

This is a quick guide to learn how to properly manage your Resident Evil 5 inventory. You can open your inventory using triangle on the PS3 controller.

Combining herbs to save space
Combine two green Herbs to get a stronger Herb (also red and green): Open your inventory, go over your herb and press X. Select combine and then move the two items on each other. You should do this for two reasons, first one, you can't use red herbs alone, secondly you'll be saving inventory space.

Combining/stacking bullet stacks
Make sure that you move Bullet stacks on each other in case both of them haven't reached stack limit size. That way you save more essential inventory space.

Use different weapons in your team
Let your partner use a weapon type which you don't. Let him use machine guns while you take normal guns and shotguns. That way you can manage your ammunition a lot easier. Furthermore you save space by for example taking 2 weapons with you instead of 4.

Exchanging/moving items from partner to partner
To make the exchange process a lot easier use the integrated exchange function. Open your inventory using triangle, press R2 to show your partner's inventory. Go to an item of your choice, press X and select exchange. Afterwards select an item in your inventory. You'll be exchanging items once your partner approves using circle. You can also give your partner items - the only requirement is that he has inventory space left.

Pretty nice
But when you come to the later "levels" it gets alot harder to manage ammo, first of all, you will both need a machine gun (I went for Ak47 and M4 ) Also, a handgun is definately needed also (for both).
Other than that, its the same tactics.

Yup, exactly. I am only going for two weapons at the same time.
