This is a discussion on Run faster in real life within the Real Life Hacks board part of the Entertainment category; If u run like 100 metres holding your breath will help a bit. But I really hope u guys don't ...
Marathon holding breath haha thats epic.Never knew about this, just tried it,did nothing but sweat myself but okay,i ran somewhat faster lol.
the only race where you would "hold your breath" is the 55/60m dash, because of its short duration, otherwise, this would only slow you down lol, ive been running track for many years now, and let me tell you this is not a good idea, because it will probably just tire you out unless you're a professional lolz
This could be the most insightful post ever
Best way to run medium fast but keep your endurance is to breath as fast as you can. I mean like 2-4 times per 2 secs... Try it you have enough strength to continue on but you won't run as fast as you can cuz if you do u will be out of breath soon enough. This is used in long races. Try it, it rly works
I also have come up with a few ways to make yourself run faster.
1. It's always good to have someone against you. It makes you strive to beat them, and it's even better if it's somebody who you don't like, which makes you really feel like beating them.
2. Think of someone who is just completely crazy in a good way, who makes you laugh and gives you strength to move on.
3. Think of something emotionally pleasing or something that makes you smile or laugh about, but don't get distracted! Examples are: Your parents finally made up after thinking about breaking up, a girl you really like went out on a date with you and really enjoyed it, you did really well on a test, you won the lottery, and many others.
4. Think that you're a bird, a plane! Think your Usain Bolt, just gliding over the ground, completely pwning the other runners, think that you CAN reach a new level, you CAN be better. Never give up till the end.
I hope you will enjoys these facts, I wouldn't mind some love that starts with an R and ends with a + (:o)
