Yep this is the stuff right here.

This was awesome! Thanks for introducing this, it gave me a whole new idea on dreams. It was the stuff right there, I was doing whatever the hell I wanted to be doing. Although it took a while to achieve i did it!

It was fun because I shot a policeman with a laser beam from my armpit =) Hehe.. Yea, that was imature but fun!

Enjoy!

What a... huge coincidence to say the least. I just wrote that essay about dreaming, and used lucid dreams in there a little bit.

I have been training for lucid dreams since... june? And I just got my first one in october. Be wary, they take LOTS of time, as the owner of this thread stated wisely. Very good post, + well earned reputation. I like how you included links, too.

Ok last night was the first time I tried this and I was wondering is it natural for on someone to be able to be in a dream and remember stuff outside the dream and act on it? Because my dreams have always been pretty damn realistic, and last night in my dream my family was going into a threating situation and I remembered that it was a dream and it might be possible to influence that dream. After thinking that I held my weapon tighter and kept on telling myself that they wouldn't die. I was wondering if being able to remember stuff from outside a dream is normal.
