Burn sugar without fire ?!?!?!

okay so I was in science, my teacher not in the room. So i was like hey I'm a bad ass so i'll mess with sulfuric acid. I filled a cup with sugar about half way. Then i placed the cup into the gas chamber thing and was like hey im going to poor Sulfuric Acid into this. I did, and the sugar started to blacken and expand. it reached about 6 inches from the cup. Then my teacher walked in and I go inschool for a week almost got Out of school

yea, it was getting hot, imagine billions of atoms colliding as the oxygen atoms are pulled from them, it would get hot enough to most likely burn you.

Sugar plus H2SO4 = carbon. Really cool, but stinks a lot.

Oh yeah, here's my guide.

1. Have a fire extinguisher.
2. have sweatshirt.
3. Place sweatshirt over nozzle of extinguiser.
4. Spray all the shit out.
5. remove sweater.
6. Dry ice!

You can also do this to a friend, put it in one of his arm sockets when your at his house and he'll get a cold burn, since its -60 degrees.
