Hey guys! Today I'll be talking of how to make printer paper look like parchment paper!
Printer paper or construction paper
3-5 tea bags (The more tea bags, the darker your paper will be)
Step 1. Put 3-5 tea bags in boiling water for 5 minutes. Any regular tea bags should do fine.
Step 2. While the tea bags are heating, fill your baking pan with room temperature water.
Step 3. Place your paper in the baking pan.
Step 4. After the tea bags have been boiling for 5 minutes, take them out of the boiling water, and put them in the baking ban.
Step 5. Let the paper soak until you receive the desired color. This will usually take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Experiment to see what you like best.
Step 6. When your desired color is reached, take the paper out of the water and place it on a baking sheet.
Step 7. Place the baking sheet in your oven, on the lowest temperature it will go.
Step 8. Leave the paper in the oven for around 1 hour. Check it every 10 minutes or so to make sure it isn't burning! You may want to take it out sooner, or leave it in for a longer amount of time. This will all depend on your oven and preferences.
Step 9. Take the paper out of your oven when it is crinkly and completely dry.
Congratulations! You now have a piece of old paper that looks like parchment! This paper is completely safe to put in a computer printer.
