1 rep power/1000 rep, 365 days registered = 1 rep p, 2000 posts = 1 rep p 10 31.25%

Adjustment of reputation power
Several people mourned the reputation power, that it was too high and consequently unfair. The mod team decided to lower the reputation power and to recalculate the reputation.

The new rules:
1 rep power per 200 reputation
1 rep power per 2000 posts
1 rep power per 365 days registered

The recalculation caused everyone to lose some reputation. I lost 100 reputation myself. I apologize for that.

lol, this is so damn low, as I think of another forum, any member being registered and active for quite a long time has 1000-4000 rep power, that's so insane xD

Ok Hend now this is ridiculous.. Who cares about a few other people complaining. What is it like 5 out of like 10,000 users who didnt like it. This is a bad update... Now I wont give you the flash intro.

Well, this way spamming towards Premium Membership is not possible anymore. Plus there will be less Premium Members, making the rank more unique.

This is kinda stupid. I don't like it this way. By having a bigger reputation power then other people, you have more power/respect.

I have a much better solution.. Don't add reputation-power for posts.. it's stupid. If you spam 2000 posts you got around 9 rep power. Let the rep power count on your reputation. like add 1 rep power for every 200 reputation. Posts doesn't matter, its what you contribute That would give me 5 rep power, which isn't much.

Anyone who agrees?

I think you are right. althought i don't have so much rep. But it's fine, the more things ppl like the more rep Ty for all rep ppl

that's a great idea !! we wont have lots of rep power but at least it's going to be better .. cause some people are spamming and it will give them rep power wtf .. But one problem is .. it's not everybody that rep people .. look all my guides in the ipod section

True, you post mass stuff, and i can't rep you for all of it without spreading to people who doesn't deserve rep. Sorry for that, i'll see if i can find a way to rep you for what you've done, but i will wait until a possible change of the rep power has been made. because this system isn't good, and lots of people agrees with that, just look at the poll ...

What's the sense of more than one reppower?

I thought of something like that too.

1 rep power / 500 rep? I think that would be good.

Or lower/increase the amount? I am open for all suggestions.

1 rep power per 200 rep is great .. it's giving a chance to other to get more rep .. because it's long to get 500rep .. that will need 500 person to rep him .. it's not everybody that is registred to this forum .. so it's not everybody that give you rep for you work .. how many guides should it take to get at 500 rep .. if you see all my cs mod guide .. one had been viewed 1200 times .. no reply and I had no rep for this work ..

I got most of my reps when rep power was 1 for everyone, so 1 is okay.

I don't agree with this point, if you want it fair for everyone, leechers, big helpers of this community, and so on, why don't we give ALL members premiuem access then? Fair for all?

As you can this is a (VERY) stupid thing to do. I'll stick to what i wroted. 1 rep power for every 200 reputation. And don't make it so we all got 1, but manually set the rep power for everyone, so volund and me has 5, while you and godofwar has 4. That's fair

The more you contribute, the more rep power you get!

No, you get reps yourself AND rep power, and that's the unfair thing.

In earlier times you gained respect by your amount of reps and now you get it by both.

Fairness is if everyone is the same.
It's enough if you get respect by the amount of reps.

Reputation Points are there to see how good your post/thread is and if you get more than one point for a good thread/post it's quiet silly because there are differences between good and bad posts/threads.

Edit: Btw. , your suggestion is acceptable. First 1 rep for everyone and +1/200.
