Leave of absence

I will be away from Wednesday (the 13th) through the 22nd, and possibly longer than that. I may have limited access to the computer from the 13th through the 15th, not really sure yet.

For those of you who don't know, My grandmother had a melanoma on her back which masticized (sp?) to both her lungs. She is terminal and will most likely die within the next three to 6 days.

I may not be on for a while, even after I get back.

I will be thinking of all of you, and to those who sent thoughts and prayers, thank you.

Take as long as you need bro, the rest of us will take care it while your away. However, I hope hend will still remain coming online when he does during his vacation, or there won't be a admin

. I'm sure we can manage if not.

You are in my thoughts and prayers Justin, it is truly a hard time, when a loved one dies...

My friends grandmother just died, sad.

Hopefully that won't be the case for yours but if it happens I'm sorry and take your time.

wow... im really sorry to hear about it, just lost an uncle so i know how you feel

I just had to comment on this one

I have myself lost two grandfathers and one grandmother, so I know how you feel. It is a terrible feeling and you will most likely cry, but you will get over it when you are ready for it

I hope it will be a nice and cozy seremony with alot of flowers and such.

It really helps.

Well, she is now unable to talk, and the mucus is building up in her lungs.

It won't be long now, probably less than 12 hrs.

well dude that stinks i wil pray for her tonight maybe if we pray enough a miracle will happen....

well i hope u can get over it i dont know what i would do if one of my close family members died all i know is that that is a horrible way to die......

I personaly have a grandma now who has just come out of cancer, "It's a miracle" the docter said. Though as most of you know cancer does come back, she is 87
Give my best wishes, Hope it's not to late, I will pray tonight, not only for my grandma, but for yours as well.

Well, it's over, my grandmother died at 2:57PM, PST today.

I will be home for a short time tommorow evening, and then will most likely be away until the beginning of september.

I lost grandfather and grandmother from the same side of the family within a year of each other in fairly recent past. I know how it feels, and my sympathies are with you and your family. May she rest in peace.

Well, I'm back home for a few days (was at the Silver Bay YMCA in Lake George NY for the North East Leader's School) and I'll be headed out to California on the 27th for a couple more days.

I'm sorry to hear that Justin. I have been unable to connect to the internet the past days, thats the reason i'm replying to this thread as late as this. I hope you find a way to get over it. I know how it feels as my grandmother died a month ago. Hard times.

I also have been inactive. For about two weeks until now. Anyhow, my Grandma also passed away from Melanoma, it was hard for me to get over, and I still think about her. Best of luck to you with the YMCA, and RIP to your Grandma, she's in a better place.
