We have decided to ban sharecash links from d3scene, since it makes you go through agonizing forms.
Anyone posting sharecash links will be infracted, and the link/thread will be removed.

You are warned!

Though, remember that no law is to be retroactive, meaning that if the link was posted before this was implemented, the user should not receive any infractions, though the link should be removed.

A question. Is it allowed to post a rapidshare-link if you clearly state what it is, and also provide a main link + a mirror?

No, no matter if you have a mirror or other links. No sharecash links at all =)
Also, this is of course not retro-active, any links i see will get removed.
Easy as that.
Anything before this announcement/update of FAQ will just recieve a warning (or maybe i will just remove the link

Even when atleast 1 person is against it, I know that it is a great decision!
Now I can download everything again

I don't think we'll be infracting people who posted sharecash before the announcement, just a say so that they shouldn't do it in the future, but they did nothing wrong at the time.

Sharecash fails sometimes anyway because offers are never available in your area..

May I ask you people, did anyone see this anouncement before today?
I haven't. Does that mean my infraction still holds, or does it mean it gets deleted?
You just commented that anyone first seing it now will just get a warning. (Or you wrote something similar to that)

My argument is, that if many people haven't seen this before (as at least I clearly can see on the replies) then I'm allowed to apply for a deletion of my infraction.
If not, then just nevermind this comment

PS. I think it's a great idea, but I don't see why they should be banned completely. I think it would be fine with having 1 ShareCash link, and at least 2 other hosts. E.g.: RapidShare & attachment.

I didnt say that anyone who hadn't seen this would not get infracted, i said that all posts from before 10-23-2009, 10:55 PM won't be infracted.
