i believe this will cause some effect on ill reputation JUST_TO_GET_PREMIUM. For example i have been going through and looking at people rep/karma lists, for instance one member has given rep for sumone repping them? i mean if every one did that we would all be premium and nothing special would come about premium membership.
I suggest a way to resolve this problem. Strong Sorting of reputation before giving premium membership.... After all, premium membership is meant to be unique isnt it?
Due to the fact of people wanting premium membership of course people will hint towards needed attributes etc Rep, and post count.
wont this lead to mass spammage? and or unrelated comments.
If my caluclations are correct 250 [posts] Divided By 30 [Days]
= 7.5 posts a day [average]
If i was to post seven posts a day "average" for thirty days, i would think this would lead to much spamming?
Im not saying everyone will want premium membership as soon as they REGISTER however, wont a percentage people will think wow this site is awsome, soo much cool stuff/people. Wonder What Premium Is Like?
I think The reputation standard is ok. Its hard enough to get rep that YOU diserve, but even harder to make a name for yourself.
As i have been on d3scene for long enough to work out who is who, A member from day dot, Dokken did not recieve his premium membership till just a while ago.
Before we moved Forums, he was still a member. But he had contributed and posted and had heaps of rep.
Not saying people shouldnt get premium membership. Just saying maybe it should be looked as a privillage, and shouldnt be abused.
