How to make a runescape private server

Hmm.
You wanna make your own RuneScape server?

Follow this guide

<what do i need?>

- any proccessor, 333Mhz-
- atleast 50MB of diskspace-
- 150MB of ram-
- Java and a brain-
----------------------------------

You can download java here : Download Java software for Windows from Sun Microsystems

Now you need the server and client.
Download it from here : http://mmorpg.ragezone.com/Runescape...104-server.rar SERVER

Install Java, Once you installed Java2] Download the server

Extract it to a Folder

run Compile.bat let the server compile, you shouldn’t get any errors, If you do, Your javac.exe probably isn’t installed if so read the next step if not, skip the next step

OPTIONAL

Move the server files to your java folder in C:\Program Files\Java\; go to the BIN folder, put the files in that folder, run compile.bat AGAIN and it should work
move the files back to the folder, click on run.bat and your done!

Client

extract the client into another folder

run rsprivservclient.exe let it load, put in any username in the username slot

put 127.0.0.1 or localhost into the Server slot, click login

And your done!

You should have your own server now

I dont thing this guide is for newbies.
But they can try

Ow i almost forgot this.

GM COMMANDS!1!!

::kick playername (kicks player from server. Only for level 3 admins)
::item itemID (spawns item on ground)
:pickup itemID amount (spawns an X amount of item to backpack. itemID must be 4 digits. for example coins are 0955)
::empty (clears items from your backpack)
::mypos (tells your location)
::tele xxxx,yyyy (teleports you to xxxx,yyyy cordinates. Both must be 4 digits)
::nick newnick (changes your name to newnick
:layers (tells you the number of players. Fixed this on version 20051104 and later)
::bank (opens your bank. anywhere, anytime)
:ass newpassword
::mod modlevel (Changes your modlevel. 0=normal player, 1=player mod, 2=golden crown -mod)
::yell some text here (Send a message shown for everyone on the server)

it happends when i try to compie from C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_07\bin

You need click on any key on your keyboard
Then its On.
And your done with that

Hmm maybe you need to fill in 127.0.0.0
Or 127.0.0.2
My friend need to fill in 127.0.0.0
So try it

I've tried 127.0.0.0, 127.0.0.1 and 127.0.0.2 but it still says "Error connecting to server"

You don't "run" a .bat. The file should be a .bat file, if you know what I'm talking about.

You simply just find the .bat file and run it as you would run any regular file - be on an administrator account on XP and simply double click it, or right click > run as administrator if your on Vista.

i did everything acording to the guide but it says eror conecting to server i have tried my ip address 127.0.0.1 , 127.0.0.0 and 127.0.0.2 it those not work y tell me how i can fix this problem and how i can get this server plublicized

Well.
First of all: Dont use that big lettertype. I can read it on normal lettertype too
Its weird but almost only noobs come for questions.
When people see this on google they making a account for only 1 thread?
Just join D3scene and stay.

I have the same problem like the other guy, when i start "compile", then it says like his (him with the picture), and i readed your "answer" just to click any button, and i did, then it dissapered, then i start "run", then it be up for 1 sec then it dissaper to, and then i try to log in with any username, nad write as server: 127.0.0.1, 127.0.0.2 and 127.0.0.0, noone of them work! plzzz answer me plzzz!
