I thought it was really awful - pretty much a carbon copy of Crank with really boring characters and less coherent action (Yes, it's apparently possible). There's not a single fun or well-edited action sequence in this pile of shit (including one in a rave that came damn close to setting off my low-level epilepsy) and most of the actors are either completely wasted or flat-out dull (I'm looking at you Mr. Butler). It really does copy-cat Crank in respects to the endless bright high-def flashes of nudity, weird sex and outlandish perversity, which at this point feels boring and tired. These guys are definitely one-trick ponies.
Two things make the film slightly less than suicide-inducing, however:
1) Michael C. Hall who gives the ultimate ADD I'm-gonna-do-whatever-I-can-to-get-fired performance of all time. Just completely bonkers, equal, if not superior, to Bai Ling in Crank 2. He has an extended dance sequence that is almost Lynch-ian.
2) The flick seems to actively despise its target audience, portraying every gamer in the film as a grossly obese, drooling, socially retarded miscreant. There is a certain amount of sick joy to derive from watching a film mock its mouth-breathing fans.
