-Computer Design

Well, I am pretty bored, so I am offering a little service to any D3 member who would like to build their own computer.

This is how it breaks down-

PM me what you want from the computer (i.e. what you will be using it for (gaming, email, web browsing, etc)) and your budget.

Also include any additional things you think you want, such as a monitor, speakers, extra large HDDs, dedicated sound card, multi-GPU's, etc. so I can factor that into your budget.

NOTE- If I create a build for you, I take no responsibility for anything going wrong during your build, I will be giving you advice to the best of my knowledge and research. I am not offering to build your computer for you, though that could be arranged If you were willing to pay shipping, the cost of parts, and my fee.

This is a free service to all www.d3scene.com members.

so you are buying a video card and a Power supply.

First you would take the driver install disk that comes with your GFX card, and install it on your computer.

then, just take your old gfx card out of its PCI slot, put the new one in, and then slide out your old power supply, replace it in the same slot, and then start connecting wires.

Make sure that both power cables to the motherboard (if you have 2 that is) are connected, and then connect the SATA power to your HDD's and CD tray, the 6 pin to your GFX card, and the molex to any fans you have.

The cables should only go into one socket, and only one way, so its pretty easy to figure out, just don't force the plugs together if they don't fit
