Optimize your Internet easily !

Hey.
I searched around on my PC and I found this tool.
I use it everytime when I format my harddrive or when Tuneup changes something in my Internet settings.
Sometimes it seems like I got a DSL 1000 instead of 16k and then, I start this program and can see: WOW, Something is different here o_O

So I want to post it here..
The program is called TCPOptimizer and made by speedguide.inc
First of all you download the program and safe it for example on the desktop.

Then doubleclick the .exe.
Now you should see this screen:


You see the numbers ? I will explain the most important functions.

1) Here you can see which settings for Internet you got. [ When you click on the bottom on Custom settings you can change whatevery you want!

2) Here you should choose your Ethernet controller -> This one will be changed

3) " Advanced Settings "
Here you can go for advanced things like maximum connections.
NOTICE: You have to choose " Custom Settings " on the bottom to change something !

4) " Largest MTU "
Here you can make something like a " Speedtest ".

5) " BDP "

6) " Latency "
You can choose between some pages to test your Ping / Latency.
There are 5 Pages to choose but you can change them if you want.

7) " Registry "
In this section you see your registry and now you can easily change the settings to whatevery you want without looking up!
TAKE CARE OF WHAT YOU CHANGE!!!!

8) " File "
You changed something in your registry and now your Internet is fucked up ? - I was known what you'll make something wrong.. But what a luck that this tool is able to make backups!
So make a backup before you change something!
You have to click on "file" ->"Restore backed up Settings " to reload the "old" settings..

Yes. That's right
So if you format your PC and perhaps install Tuneup, your Ineternet configuration could be for dsl 6K instead of 16k. So this tool will see what you configurated and will change it in 2-3 steps.
But X-räi already posted this tool on D3 :/

Yeap. Like you said, it is just to configure to the right settings so you will use your Internet at its best

this is correct

and, i used it and i swear, it makes you connection "better". not physically indeed lol.
this tool is very easy to use, AND it works.
cant remember, but it was around from 10k kb/s to 12k kb/s on speedtest.net
or even more, as i cant reach my limit with speedtest servers anyway.

Its a nice tool that i used to use before and forgot about it thanx for reminding me about it.
