Well, since some of you are asking for it, I know some of you might have been using
TeamViewer, but I think I've found a desktop sharing program that is better than that!
Introducing....
Mikogo!
I won't copy all the information here, but basically it is just a desktop sharing program where you can "Take advantage of the opportunity to share any screen content or application over the Internet in true color quality with up to 10 participants simultaneously, while still sitting at your desk.".
What's good?
-You can do group conferencing
-It is
fast compared to TeamViewer
What's not?
-It may not be easier to setup but after reading my guide, I'll hope you know how!
-You need to create an account
Okay, let's get started,
downloads! Windows Download | Mikogo Installation and setup guide- Follow the download link and install the program (I'll assume you people know how).
- After installation, there would be a 'M' icon by the taskbar(bottem right).
- Right click it > Create account
- Create your account > Verify your email(Not sure if needed)
- Go to the 'M' icon again > Settings
- Enter your settings, login details
Interface Guide
Okay, the set up is complete, so you ask how do I actually get to share our desktop with our friends? Let me show you.
- Right click on the 'M' icon again, then you can either "Start Session" or "Join Session"
- To "Start Session", basically what you are doing is similar to hosting a game on BattleNET, but with password

- To "Join Session" is to join a friend's private game, well you get the point!
- Lets try "Start Session", click it an let it load, if it works, there will be some kind of popup in the middle and by the bottom right(like steam). The middle part will include your Session ID and details.
- If you want your friends to look at your desktop, just give them the "Session ID" and ask them to join the session by going in "Join Session".
Some extra settings
That's all, it should work if you follow my step-by-step tutorial, and here's another tweak I think most of you people that have slower internet or want faster connection with Mikogo and your friends to have.
Go under "Preferences" tab in the popup box that shows the session ID, you will see something called "Quality/Speed". I would pick "Max Speed", which will make the screen black and what but makes the whole thing go faster.
Well, that's it for my tutorial, sorry for not having any pictures, don't really have time to do all that. If you have any problems, please don't hesitate to ask!
Enjoy!
