Make your own Custom Warcraft Autorefresher!

hmmm dude can u help me with using a hex editor!? i wanna change the name of my auto refresher.... thx...

Okay. Open the hex editor, and click File -> Open and scroll to the refresher you want to change the name of. Then you click Search -> Replace and type in "Lemonparty." in the Find area, and whatever you want in the Replace With area. Remember that what you put into the Replace With area, has to be 11 characters ("a" is one character, "ab" is two characters. 11 characters should be something like "LoveCookies" or "IReallyRock".) Remember that if you want an autorefresher with less than 11 characters, you can use spaces. (Use the Spacebar, the longest button on your keyboard.)
When you filled in "Lemonparty." and whatever you want in those two areas, click Replace All. Then you should get a message that it has been 7 changes, or something like that. Then click File -> Save As... and locate to where you want to place the file, and call it "whateveryoulike.exe". You can replace the "whateveryoulike" part, but not the ".exe" part, as that has to be there.

i have found out that these types of programs work only on wired connections. i rerouted my connection form wireless to a wire from the router, and it started working, and vice versa.

can u help me? when i type in the find and replace names a box comes up with string not found. wat do i do

Then you have misspelled it. In the Find box you need to type "Lemonparty." exactly as that, just without the ". And in the Replace box you need to type whatever you want to say, "XXXXX joined the game" instead of the X. If you want it to be less than 11 characters, then place spaces there ( ) instead of a letter. It needs to be 11 characters long!

i figured it out!! i was typing it in right its just that when u dl the autorefresher from ur post its zipped and all i had to do was unzip the file and then do the directions above. TY XplittR

oh ya and how do i post this on a forum site? bec when i attach the program it says extension exe is not aloud

C:\Documents and Settings\Adam\Desktop\refresher.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

This the error message i recieve when i try to open my custom autorefresher when ive changed Lemonparty. in the hex editor and saved it. The actual autorefresher Lemonparty. i tryed and it works fine but im not sure what im doing wrong for my own one.

Is there a way to change the time interval in which the game refreshes? If so, could you please tell me how?
