I'm actually Scottish myself lmao. :p

It's far worse than American English. As is Welsh and Irish. There's not many Americans that British people can't understand, but some Americans failed to understand Cheryl Cole's accent.

Then again, this is going in to spoken dialect. Scotsmen do write in proper English, however. As do the Irish and Welsh (mostly, though they have their own languages).

Bleh.. when I did my Cambridge exams in English for C1, Scottish was a pain in listening comprehension.

If you read my post, I clearly declare that I'm referring to 'written' and 'spoken' as being loosely 'synonymous'.

If you wanna troll me, you gotta play harder.

So you take a jab at my comment and then when I catch you out on it, you then step back and go on to the original topic? You're the one with a relevance fail. :p

I don't see how you can say "america's english is dumb", and "my english is correct", Your english WAS the modern//broken version of "old english", and american english is NOW the modern//broken version of your english//old english.

I could understand how you could be an advocate of the first language, or the last language, but it makes no sense to declare the in between language the correct one.

    The progression is:
Old English to UK English to US English.
US is the most modern version.

    Suck it.
