If you go back into history, the Indians were intially used as slaves, but the diseases that the europeans brought over with them the natives weren't immune to, but the Europeans of course were. The African tribe leaders SOLD their people out as slaves and OFFERED their people as slaves for things such as ivory, gold etc from the triangle trade route and to the merchants that ran it (europeans at the time). The slaves were not taken randomly, this was a lucrative and money process. You cannot solely place white people at blame for the beginning of time for such things w/o doing research. Not saying you were but I mean people in general always get mad when 'slavery' is mentioned. This was started by Africans on themselves not by us. Also this is where the term 'ivory coast' comes from in some African countries.
