i took lessons 1½ half year, got the orange belt. I got bored of it, you don't learn to protect yourself well enough, it's only a "show off" sport like karate. After that i tried some Ju-Jutsu with a friend. It is SO much better, you learn a lot of tactics, and you learn to fight people who is way stronger than you are. you learn how to do arm and leg "locks" so the "enemy" (other person) can't move out of hes position. Very good and fun sport indeed, but stopped again because my friend stopped too. (and he was the only one i knew on the "team")

Nice vids though, + rep for sharing !

On topic: What is the point of tae kwon do and karate? Its just showoff sports -.-
YOU HAVE YOUR GUARD DOWN!!!!
Learn from kickboxing please... Get that guard up, then i might start liking this sport.
In a street fight, its one punch and you are down... why?
YOU HAVE NO GUARD!!!! WHYYYY???
