How to Idle on a Unicycle

Now, if you've read my How to Mount a Unicycle tutorial, then you should have seen the term 'idle' in the post. You're probably wondering, "What the hell does he mean by 'idle'?" Well, idling is when you ride a bit forward then a bit backwards to stay in a relatively same spot.

OK. Here's what you do:

1. Mount the Unicycle.
2. Lean forward and peddle forward for about half a second.
3. Lean backwards and peddle backwards for a bout a second.
4. Repeat 2-3 until you want to dismount or ride away.

You're going to want to be in a clear space with enough room for the unicycle to flip forward, backward, or sideways because you will lose your balance in the first attempts. Don't lose hope because you'll get it down if you keep at it.

Have a good one.
