[Discuss] Diablo II v. Starcraft II

To be honest, I think Diablo III is going to fail since everyone is playing SC2? SC2 is a great game and I doubt anyone would be planning on to quit it for Diablo III. Hell people might buy it, but wouldn't play it cause of time consuming SC2 Anyhow what do you guys think? I really doubt Diablo II will be a success with SC2 still so popular

Well I think diablo appeals to a different type of gamer (rpg). I play both rts and RPGs but I like rts better. Imma buy diabo 3 but I will play sc2 more

Oh man, have you read about the new features in D3? for what they have released for information, it's packed with more content then SC2. Personally speaking, coming from 3D Modeling/Concept Creation,and Art, I have a sh!tload of respect for both games, but I believe D3 well take the cake. From the screenshots and clips, the art is just down right incrediable, with the addition of achievements, more quests, new items, new characters, and new crafting method, I think we well see alot of people go from SC2 to D3. But in terms of Korea, this maybe different. Also, I herd alittle rumor D3 is coming out this year, as well as an expansion for SC2. So I think the true question will be which new game (expansion or d3) will be more popluar.

I agree d3 will be better then sc2 i've always liked games like diablo A lot better then strategy games like starcraft, blizzard is just so brilliant at making games.

I don't think people play the games the same way. The Diablo games require way less focus, so can be played when you are tired, unfocused etc. I know I can't really have fun playing SC2 when I'm not focused, since I do terribly and get pissed off lol.
