you could write "what is flase positiv" in google and would find the answer on the first hit.

Its not really a question if it's necessary or not. It's just that sometimes when people create a hack the code looks like a threat to the antivirus. Even though we know the code is safe, the antivirus does not. Thats why it detects the hack as a positive threat. Hence the term false positive



besides false-positive, there is also false-negative, or aka undetected
conclusion?-->Don't trust anti-virus 100%. AV result is only used as a reference, they are by no means the real/final answer
Best/only way to avoid infection is to only download programs directly from the trusted authors, do not use any second-hand programs.
