Starcraft 2 Battle.net

Is there going to be such thing as a Battle.net in Starcraft 2? I doubt that blizzard now wants to make the game free without monthly charges.

Afaik no. I don't know if they want money (I doubt it, since it's just a strategy game, not an MMORPG), but it won't be on battle.net

Interesting, so they would only make money by selling the copies of Starcraft 2?

That's how it goes, they had one big success and now want to make their other game a success at well . I doubt it too since all games before WoW were without any monthly fees.

Warcraft 4 = World of warcraft.

The RTS warcraft series ended with War III and TFT.

wow is not wc4 man its just a alternative, trust me, if there is ever going to be another warcraft series it will be warcraft 4, not 5. but some time after, if lblizz waants to remain in the mmorpg market, they will either have to make wow 2 or a starcraft/diablo mmorpg, but which is stlil good for blizz cuz theese games can be great for RTFPSMMORPG
