Making a good signature using Paint.NET

1. You will need to have the program paint.net
Paint.NET - Reviews and free Paint.NET downloads at Download.com
2. You will need a picture to make into your signature! I will use this one http://www.mosaicodiffusion.com/picts/LinkinPark_by%20James%20Minchin.jpg
3. Install Paint.NET if you have not already.

4. Load your picture into Paint.NET.

5. Now since the signature size for the forums is 500x200 you will want to make a new picture.

6.Select the picture that you want as your signature and copy it

7.Paste it into the other picture frame then you should get this messege

8.Click "Keep canvas size"

9.Now you should have really big picture. Select one of the edges and resize it.

10. Now do whatever you want to it and upload it!

You can do that with a background picture as you wish, too, then just copy a image you wish to have in front of that bg, and click Edit --> Paste in a new layer, then just place it where you want, take the rubber, and just erase the pixels you don't want there, and voilà, you should have a custom image with a custom background.
Thanks for the guide anyways, +reputation ^_^
