    Re: how to host a custom game?

    Try doing what it says on Hendricius' post again (don't just take a quick look, it took me 2 hours to make it work). If you have a router, contact your router manufacturer about portforwarding. Or try turning off firewalls/antiviruses etc. If it still doesn't work I have a few ideas but I don't think it'll work. Try giving more information, then maybe more people could help.

    Re: how to host a custom game?

    Click on Start, then go to run. Search for cmd.exe and a black box should pop up. Type in ipconfig and press enter (you'll need to know your default gateway)

    It should tell you your;
    Connection/ISP
    IP Address
    Subnet Mask
    Default Gateway

    Look at the numbers near the default gateway, now open up internet explorer, and type them into the address bar (no www, just the numbers)

    Each router system is different so I can't be too clear about this one. What you need to do is go to login and enter the following:
    Accountname: Admin
    Password: Admin

    (note this only works if your current login user is 'computer administrator&#39

    Then find the firewall section and allow incoming packets (TCP/UDP in this case) to Ports 4000 and 6112. It should run like clockwork
