    [Tutorial] How do I make a VOD?

    Well first i must say i dont speak english very well, but i'm going to try it :P

    VoD: Video on Demand

    Programs for use ;

    • FRAPS
    • Virtual Dub

    * We´ll need much space 5 or 6 Gigabytes.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Well, just follow the indications and the screens to take a video with 640x480 with 15FPS and a little low quality, with this we´ll take a normal-high quality video, which don´t use much space (2mb per min)

    1':police:

    --> FRAPS is the program,that we´ll use to record thevideo,then we open it, and we go to "Movies" and we see those options:

    -- Put the same like photo.

    2':police:

    Now, we open Wc3 (without closing FRAPS) and we go to " options/video "
    we take the lowest resolution: 640x480 ( we have taken the same resolution like Wc3 and FRAPS ).

    The yellow numbers are the frames per second.

    - Now when you want, you push F9 and you start the recording, youçll see that the numbers will be red, so if you want to stop push again F9.

    - The video that you have recorded are in C:/Fraps, around 300mb per min will ocupe it ( so high, jeje we must reduce it)

    3':police:
    - Now we must open Virtual Dub to reduce it.

    Lets open video file...

    - Video >> Full processing mode and Compression.

    - We will see next windows, ok now we must take the codec for video compression, so we are going to use ;

    - XviD MPEG-4 Codec >>> Configure
    - Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec V1/2

    *I prefer to use XviD, but the other is good too

    - Profile >>> Home Theatre NTSC
    Target bitrate(kbps) >>> 190
    Then ok.

    - Audio >>> Compression
    First take " Source audio " and " Full processing mode ".

    - We will see the next windows and we take this ;

    MPEG Layer-3 - 56 kBits/s....

    -- All right, all are done. Now we must go to File and "Save as AVI...", we will see another windows where do we must take source and the name.

    - Now the windows with the dates of video will appear and we be able to see the Total time and the Projected File Size.

    - If we see the video and all is OK, we can delete the first video that we record with FRAPS.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

    Well i will add more, because i made it too fast. Im trying to help you:P Thx
