    Regarding, "What this hack for?"

    Features
    1. Simplified terrain and trees for improved vision and resource management
    2. Tower attack range circle drawn
    3. Shadowfiend's nuke range is drawn
    4. When -ah is activated, a built in maphack is activated (without -ah, this map does not have maphack)
    5. Improved model/color for various heroes (easier to click, completely negates blur)

    this map only edited images, models, etc.
    i would call it a "synchronized" map instead of collided map, since it doesnt edit map code at all.

    The owner of this '' collided '' map called it '' collided '', that why we call it collided too.

    I didn't make this map, but I really can't figure out how the map can have so much modification, and still manage to load just like a regular Dota map.

    They simply replaced the DotA map with their collided map.
    I don't know how he did it.
    It remains a mystery.

    there is no mystery.
    If you can replace terrain models, hero models, why not tower models with a ranged effect ?
    cooldown is also model. that explains why all cooldown counts down from 100 to 0, not the real time.
    shadow fiend with indicator = model with 3 needles on X axis on right position
    dynamic effect on loading finished = model of screen loading

    You can modify them as much as you want, the map stays collided, since the game only checks for jass, ability files, custom unit files, terrain, etc.... Not other files. Otherwise dota wouldnt have been multi languaged.
