    Thanks for the answer. I'm still learning a lot, I was actually searching for the value of the ESI register when EIP is at 6F54E84B. The best thing would be to understand how the ESI register gets its value, that's why a trace into 6F54E84B would be awesome. ESI+48 is the pointer to my currentNumberOfPlayers variable that wc3 already update on its own. Is your snippet a good start direction to find this?
    if u just want to retrieve the value of the ESI register its kinda easy with inline assembly:

    I would have to inject something in the running program then, right? Otherwise where do you place this asm instruction? I'm not sure I want to inject anything since the Tls has everything I need.

    When the TLS has everything you need, why you need to retrieve the value of the ESI register?

    Thanks for your help JoeBlack2060. As I said, the TLS of Game.dll has exactly what was searching for: a nice value that wc3 already update on its own. open|Fire was kind enough to give me the offset, my problem is solved. About the esi+48 pointer, I was just wondering how one would do to trace it and retrieve it, out of curiosity I guess.
