I've tried it on garena with around 4k gold of branches and it doesn't seem to work...

There is no spesific number of branches, it depends on host.Generally u will need more than 4k gold thats why i advise to use this after 30 min and get teammates to do this if possible.

it actually works...i didnt use ironwoods,i used clarity potions...had like 8.6 k and the host dced...^^

Yes, you can do it with every item as long as you have enough money.However its not advisable to use claritys since they will stack when picked up.....

If the host can handle the information, he won't be disconnecting any time soon.

This method may work to lag the host out; but imagine this; if a savvy host starts to see lag, he can easily on his maphack (if not already done); see who's the idiot who's buying branches, and then kick the person before the lag reaches critical point.

This is assuming that the other scourge players don't blow the whistle on the branch-buying person first; which is very probably in a public game.
