Warcraft 3 hack problem
PID Errors are usually caused by programs who need the Administrator-permission to run propably without any errors. Commonly maphacks are in need of those permission as they are changing processes memory. Therefor you will sometimes need to give a process administrator rights. You can do that via the Taskmanager or over an external program which I put a link to at the End of this thread. It helped me to solve PID errors I had for not only Hacks but also other programs.

Try using Permedit on The Maphack, open permedit scroll down the list of exes, select the name of your Maphack and click on Grant Permission. You can ofcourse also use any other Hack/Tool you like. This also works for granting Ollydbg full access to a process or TSearch.


Heres a better fix, since giving out debug privileges doesn't always fix the problem. With this PermEdit you can also give the Warcraft 3 Hacks full access to the processes in order to let them work correctly.

Instructions:
1. Extract Permedit.exe to anywhere you want.
2. Run the program you're trying to get system access granted to, e.g WPE Pro.
3. Run Permedit.exe.
4. A window containing every running process and its PID should appear.
5. Scroll down and select xxxxx.exe (replace xxxxx with WPE Pro 0.9a or TSearch, etc.)
6. Press Grant Permissions at the bottom.
7. Click OK and exit Permedit.exe.
8. Your program should be able to target any running process now.

Could this work for custom kick, and name spoofer? Ive already manually got the maphack to work, but im having trouble getting the custom kick and the name spoofer to work.

hey to those who still have the PID error.....i had the same problem too...i jus formatted my pc and reinstalled windows xp....problem solved. but if ur not that desperate to maphack like me...den i suggest not to go through all that trouble. Cheers. XD

Am Still Getting Errors.
1. I Opened The File (Everest)
2. Opened PermEdit
3. Found The File : Everest.exe
4 Granted Permissions, Pressed Ok, Closed Down And Attempted To Work Everest But I Still Get PID ERROR =/

Edit: Didnt Download The File From This Site Seeing As It Was A RAR File And It Didnt Work.

Make sure you are running all programs as administrator user. Right click on the file "run as administrator" (Vista), right click "properties" (XP) and then select "run in administrator mode". On Linux systems, switch to root user "su root && wine file.exe" or if you have sudo "sudo wine file.exe"
