    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    1. Introduction
    -------------------

This guide is to help Undead-newbies (beginners) to play like skilled Undead's.

    2. Informations about Building Orders
    -----------------------

Building Orders (short: BO's) is one of the most important thing in the game.
You have to set your buildings so, that the units won't be blocked when they are ready, and the hero don't stuck when he's trained.
A stucking hero will need very much time to get him free, which will result that the enemy already have level 2, when you can go out of the base.
It's a big mistake which happends to everyone, so don't worry.

Here is an example, for a bad BO:

Like you see, in this BO, the Hero would stuck.

Here's an example, for a good BO:

In this picture, the Altar is safe for attacks, but the hero would still come out.

    3. Strategies
    -----------------

    3.1. Standart: Ghouls
    ---------------------------

So, we gonna play Ghouls. Ghouls are very fast in movement- and attackspeed.
They're good to surround enemys, but have not much HP. With good micro, they're a good weapon.

    The BO
    ----------

    - Acos -> Gold
    - Ghoul -> Wood
    - 1 aco -> Build Crypt & Altar -> back to gold
    - Train 3 acos -> Gold, last go scout
    - The last, we use to scout. Send him to the places, where the other base(s)
    could be.
    - When enough Gold/Wood -> Zig
    - When enough Gold/Wood -> Zig
    - When Altar is finished, train Hero. (See: 3.1.2. Heroselection)
    - Train 5 Ghouls.
    - When Hero is finished, get all 5 Ghouls and go to creep.
    - Train 2 Ghouls -> Wood
    - Train Ghouls up to 30 Supply, then Tech to Tier2
    - Build Graveyard

    3.1.1. The Game
    ----------------------

When Graveyard is finished, upgrade the "Unholy Strength" & "Unholy Armor"
Train more ghouls, till the Tech is finished.
In Tech2, we have to know what the enemy build.
    With MapHack it's easy =)
Else, you surely met your enemy @ creeping. You should see what he built.
So take a look at the List. (See: 3.1.3. When should I play Ghouls?)
Don't forget to upgrade the units, if they will not be upgraded by "US" & "UA"
    ([U]nholy [S]trength & [U]nholy [A]rmor)
Creep till you have level 5 First Hero, lvl 3 Second. Don't forget to upgrade the units!!!
If you reached 2/2 upgrade, Tech to Tier3.
    Get the Thirth hero.
Then I would think of an Attack.
If you think so also(;D), we have again 2 options:
    1. We use our MapHack
    2. We use our Scout we sent in the begin to search
In both options you see him on the MiniMap.
So, we start to go to his base
But, if we use our Brain and experience in Wc3, we can think of an Expansion (short: Exe).
So we first search on the MiniMap for the nearest goldmines in the area of our Enemy.
If we have luck, we see his Exe. Now, for sure, we wanna kick it. So we attack it. But beware: The enemy surely try to TP to his Exe to safe his gold advantage: Go abit back.
Now, when he ported, you will surely have an advantage because of the Upgrade u made. (3/3 should be at this point)
    Now, fight him.
I can't give you any tips about fighting, because u have to learn how to fight with which units.
Try to loose not too much units, and use ur spells!
You should easily(?) won against his army.
Now, kick his Exe, what we wanted to do before he came to kick your units.
After the Exe is down, try to kill all Peons/Peasants/Acos.
When they run away, he will fast make a new Exe.
    So. Exe pwned.
Let's go to the Main? Yeah, ofc. (Maybe it's my bloodlust, but I ever attack after kicking the Exe. )
Now, we are in his Main -
Now, one question comes up: What should we kill first?
    We have a few answers:
    - The supplybringer (farms/zigs/burrows)
    - The production Buildings (Training Units etc.)
    - The Altar
    - The Workers
    - The Units/Heroes
I think the answer is easy - Kicking the remaining Units & Heroes.
You should have no problem with that, because he has close to nothing, if he runned away from the last fight. So, just kill it!
Now, you don't need to think for anything.
For sure, you should kill Towers first, if they're not safed.
Then, I personally kill the supplybringer first. Because, if he try to revive any Heroes etc, he can't. (No Supply = No Heroes)
Now, just kick the rest and the game is yours!!!
But - Never forget - if you're sure u won, say "gg".

    3.1.2. Heroselection
    --------------------------

So, Altar is finished. But which Hero should we use? :/
This question is surely one of the most asked questions for Undead Gamers.
    What is the right Hero?
For me, the Deathknight (short: DK) is the best first hero, because:
    - His Coil (To Heal own / Kill enemy Units)
    - His Aura (More Movement speed / Ups the Hp regeneration)
    - His Ultimate (Animate up to 6 dead units in your area)

But, you can also use the Lich as first. Because of:
    - His Nowa (To slow/hurt/kill enemy units)
    - His Ultimate (In a specified Area, everything get killed after a time)

You can also use the Dreadlord (short: DL) as first. Because of:
    - His Sleep (To sleep enemy units/heros to surround them)
    - His Aura (To get HP for attacking enemy units)
    - His Ultimate (An amazing Inferno, very powerful)

But, in the most MatchUps (short:MU's), it's the best to use this combination:
    1. DK
    2. Lich
    3. DL

3.1.3. When should I play Ghouls?
    --------------------------------------------

Now, the most says Ghouls sucks. But this isn't right. Ghouls are more powerful than Fiends. Ghouls are, as I said in the begin, faster in movement- and attackspeed.

Ghouls are good against Humans, Undeads and Orcs. But I wouldn't use em against NightElf, because the archers will pwn em before your ghouls can attack them. NightElfs are the only onces, where I would use Fiends. Vs NightElf you need very much micro, most because of the Archer/Talon combination. You surely noticed, that the most NightElfs uses this combination (Should be the best against Undead, but this is bullshit).
If your enemy uses air AND ground units, just make some fiends with web, and all is fine.

    3.2. Standart: Fiends
    ----------------------------

Fiends - the most used Units from all Undead-Players.
Yeah, and why not? Fiends are for sure ver powerful, so why don't use em?
In this Section of my Tutorial I will go deeper in the Fiend-Strategy.
Most Undead-Player games fiends with DK & Lich,
upgrade them to 3/3 and think they win.
But you can't win with just fiends. Fiends are not made to fight alone, they've to get played in a combination, like every Unit.
With Fiends, I mostly play Fiends/Necros/Banshees and some Ghouls, maybe some Gargs if I have enough Gold. The most Undead-Player change to Ghouls against NightElf.
But why they change their completly perfect strategy?
It's easy: Because they think they will win easily with Ghouls/Gargs combination. But Fiends with Necros would be much more useful. Skelleton worriors as melee, Fiends/Necros as ranged Units. Sounds pretty useless, but it isn't.
However, I waste enough time to talk about this things.
    Let's begin!

    The BO
    ----------

    - Acos -> Gold
    - Ghoul -> Wood
    - 1 aco -> Build Crypt & Graveyard
    - Train 3 Acos -> Gold, last aco go Scout
    - When enough Gold/Wood, build Zig
    - When enough Gold/Wood, build Altar (See: 3.2.2. Heroselection
    - Train 1 Ghoul, send him to Wood
    - Train a Fiend
    - When enough Gold/Wood, build Zig

    3.2.1. The Game
    ---------------------

Your Hero comes out of the Altar. That means, you're ready to go creep.
Get all ur fiends and ur Hero and go to the first creep.
When you have ~3 Fiends, research "Creature Attack" & "Creature Carapace"
    (short: CA & CC)
When you have 5-6 Fiends, Tech to Tier2.
    Keep creepin'.
When Tier2 is ready, get a second hero (See: 3.2.2. Heroselection)
Now, again, we have to look for out units. Therefor you don't need to know what your enemy builds. (See: 3.2.3. Why should I play Fiends?)
With necros you're never wrong. So build them.
I hope you don't forget to upgrade in Tier2 to Improved CA & Improved CC? =)
If you done, tech up to Tier3.
Creep to lvl 5 first hero, lvl 3 second hero.
When Tier3 is finished, get the last hero.
Don't forget to upgrade to Advanced CA & CC.
Now, like with the Ghouls, we gonna attack. =)
    1. We have MapHack: Look on ur MiniMap for the enemy base.
If he have an Exe, go and kick it!
    2. We scouted: Look on ur MiniMap and search for nearby goldmines.
The enemy maybe have an Exe, let's search it!

Oh, we found the Exe! Let's kick it!
Now, you attack the mainbuilding. Beware: The enemy probably TP! So look on the Mainbuilding for the circle from the TP. If the circle comes up, run abit back!
Now. You vs the enemy. Fight him! =)
I can't give you tips how to fight, because you have to learn how to fight by urself. Either you won't even learn it... Just try to loose not too much units.
You have Necros (Necromancher), use their spells! (Skelletons)

    So, you won the fight.
Now, kill the mainbuilding from the Exe!
And have a look @ the Peons/Peasants/Wisps/Acos! They will run away!
So kill them, before you loose them! In the most times, he will just recreate the Exe, so the fight u made was close to useless.
Let's go into his Mainbase now, eh? Ok!
So, here we are - in front of his Mainbase.
    Let's attack!
Now, we are in his base. What should we kill first? : /
    - The Supplybringer
    - The production buildings
    - The Altar
    - The Workers
    Or the remaining Units/Heroes?
Let's kill the remaining Units & Heroes, it will clear us the way.
    Now, his army is kicked.
Now, I usually kill the Towers, if they're not safed behind any buildings.
If they're safed, I kick the buildings infront of the Towers. After, I think
you can guess it, I kill the towers.
After them, I kick the supplybringer.
Then, my enemy is unable to produce any Units or revive Heroes.
Now, I kill the production buildings, to have security, that he can't make units anymore.
Then I kill the rest, and won the game.

But remember - Never forget to say "gg" after a win/loss!!!!

    3.2.2. Heroselection
    --------------------------

So, Altar is finished. But which Hero should we use? :/
This question is surely one of the most asked questions for Undead Gamers.
    What is the right Hero?

But, in the most MatchUps (short:MU's), it's the best to use this combination:
    1. DK
    2. Lich
    3. DL

3.2.3. Why should I play fiends?
    ----------------------------------------

Fiends are a very useful weapon against close to every unit.
But - they're very slow - in movement- and attack speed.
So you will need the CA & CC upgrades very fast.
    In masses, they're really powerful.

    Fiends are good against NightElf.
    Vs Undead/Human/Orc I wouldn't play them personally.
But, you can use them against air. With their web they can
get enemy air units to the ground so you can attack with all
your units, as just with your air like usually.
That was all about Fiends, overall, they're just good against NighElf.

    3.3. Fasttech: Frost Wyrms
    ----------------------------------

Fasttech to Frost Wyrms... I like this strat very much, because you get
very powerful units in shortest time.

    The BO
    ---------

The BO of this strat is very long. So here we go:

    - Acos -> Gold
    - Ghoul -> Wood
    - Train 3 acos -> Gold, last go scout
    - Build Crypt
    - Build Zig
    - Tech to Tier2
    - build Altar
    - Build Zig
    - Build Graveyard

    3.3.1. The Game
    ---------------------

When the Crypt is finished, make 6 ghouls, so you have 8 ghouls overall.
When the Altar is finished, train your first hero. (See: 3.3.2. Heroselection)
    When the Graveyard is finished,
Now, your hero is finished. Take ur Hero and ur 8 Ghouls and creep @ the nearest goldmine you find on the MiniMap.
After you creeped it, send ur ghouls back to gather wood, get 1 aco out of ur base and Haunt the creeped Goldmine.
In tier2, build an Sarcrifal Pit, make 5 acos u send to your new goldmine, train ur second hero, and tech up to Tier3. Upgrade to Improved CA & CC.
Now, you have time till you reach Tier3.
I just go to harrass the enemy, so you can do that also.
Or just creepjack ur enemy, and Coil the low-hp-creeps.
Now, in Tier3, create 2 Boneyards, train the last hero & upgrade to Advanced CA & CC.
When they're finished, make 1 Frost wyrm and in the other one research Freezing Breath.
After them, train 2 frost wyrms.
That you do till you have ~4 Frost Wyrms.
Now we can creep. So let's creep till our DK is in lvl 3-5, because we will need
a high-leveled Coil for the Frost Wyrms.
On lvl 3-5, we can attack.
So, we look on our MiniMap where our nice enemy is.
    So, we found him!
Let's look for en Exe first, ok?
So, search @ the nearest goldmines in his location.
If we found it, let's kick it!
    Now, your enemy gonna TP.
So fight him! But have a look @ ur Frost Wyrms, they can die very fast!

    3.3.3. Why should I Fasttech?
    --------------------------------------

Yeah, this is a good question!
Why should I Fasttech with UD?
I just make it, if I know I play against noobs. (50-55% with about 500 games etc.)
Because they won't really be ready for every strategy.
I also use it in Custom Games (short: CG's) for my personally fun.
    I don't care losses in CG's.
You can use it whenever you want, but beware: Against Pro's,
    it's your dead!

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That was my HowTo play UD!!!!
    I hope you enjoy'd it!
Bye, to the next of my Tutorials!

Ghouls suck! But then again I play TFT.

    Water Elemental > Ghouls
    Wolves > Ghouls
    Ghouls > Ghouls
Lol, if your pretty good, NE dies. (to ghouls)
