1. Introduction
Hey, it's me Archimonde again. This is a guide about orc and how to play it in solo and in 2s games. My first 500 games on warcraft 3 were played on orc because I wanted Shaman icon really bad, like 300 of those are actually losses from playing in RT 3s and Solo (mass windies every game) This guide will explain some basics and other stuff. Anyways, enjoy.

2. Heroes

:: Blademaster

CHOP CHOP CHOP

The Blademaster is the most imbalanced hero in the game, so this is the #1 choice for first hero in any game you might be playing (except 3s, most people will use Tauren Chieftain, Farseer or Panda (Depending on strategy attempted) Anyway, it's a good idea to use ALL The inventory slots, and give your TP scroll to Your Shadow Hunter or Tauren Chieftain, as your Blademaster can easily escape with his imbalanced FREE invisibility boots spell. (Wind Walk if your dumb)

Shown here: A player who has discovered that their hero has inventory slots on his hero will make his blademaster a dangerous beast.

::Shadow Hunter

RUN BITCH RUN

I consider The Shadow Hunter a very good moving equipment for your blademaster. The moving equipment can cast heal, which will allow your blademaster to survive, and can also cast hex, which will disable opponents for your blademaster to kill (INSTANTLY), more of a reason to use it to stop your opponent from teleporting away. Shadow Hunter is a great MUST hero depending on your ally or your opponent.
Versus Orc: Only if BM Mirror, go SH.
Versus Elf: Only if they don't go Talons, go SH.
Versus Undead: Prefer SH as a third hero, as TC's stomp is needed to kill fiends.
Versus Human: Prefer TC's Shockwave, but Shadow Hunter is also applicable depending on who your playing and if you really need hero killers. (If they quick expo, SH is the way to go.)

:: Tauren Chieftain

TC is a beast, unless your getting nuked to death instantly in every battle. TC is most effective at level 3, with shockwave or stomp. Tauren Chieftain can be used as a singular hero in 3s to mass Grunts or Headhunters. Can be in 2s to go Tauren Chieftain HH with Potm Hunts. (which AOE owns if your having trouble countering the crap mass strategy)

Tauren Chieftain is a deadly force to anyone who stands in its way.
:: Far Seer
Who the hell uses Far Seer when you have imba BM and SH and TC to go AFK on your opponent's heroes?

3. Blademaster: Using him as a dota hero.
It's always a good idea to have critical strike ready.

The blademaster, of course, is the most imbalanced hero. Now combine him with hacks, you have a crazy imbalanced creep jacker who can kill on sight. It's a good idea to creep the goblin camps on gnoll wood, as the crappiest drop is ring of protection and other than that you can get claws, gloves of haste, and circlet. You don't always buy boots, but it is a suggested item. At level 3, get level 2 windwalk, but at level 5, get level 3 critical strike, as it is much more effective then a crappy level 3 windwalk which is almost just the same as a level 2 windwalk. Always have the claws, gloves, and extra damage items on the Blademaster, while the Shadow hunter or Tauren Chieftain is equiped with scrolls and otherwise effective items (Tauren chieftain needs invulnerable potion). ALWAYS choose Blademaster first. Even versus Undead, Far Seer us hardly useful anymore as wolves are week, and all he does is shoot 20 damage lightning balls. Only Blademaster can go chop down the fiends while raiders ensnare.

4. Going Tier 3
Only two reasons you might go Tier 3. Either for Berserkers, or for Tauren in 3s. Sometimes in solo you can also do so after getting an expo, but otherwise nothing else will matter because you can just manage your grunts, Raiders, Kodos, and Spirit Walkers well enough. I don't consider Bloodlust effective at all, it's easily stopped and easy to counter because it's just a simple buff. Troll Witch doctors are also easy to counter, just attack the wards.

5. Team Games
My suggested team is Orc/Human, which is quite an insane combo considering both players are good. Blademaster and Archmage harasses the opposing elf or human the best they can, giving time for tech. Grunts and Footies to support. Time to tech is for Shadow hunter and mountain King. The point of Orc/Human is the heroes, MK, SH, and BM. Archmage is there for a tank to creep. Once The 2nd heroes pop out, you can either finish the opponents off or creep stronger creeps together, I.E. Twisted Meadows Shop. Human goes Dual Sanctum Breakers in mirror, or gets Rifles/Single sanctum priests versus most other matchups.
Another suggested is Orc/Night Elf, it will allow you to give Night elf Kotg Pool mass or Potm mass depending on situation. Versus NE/UD ONLY I suggest a TC HH/POtm hunts mass, which I will not be giving a build for in this guide, cause I am very much focused on the Blademaster. Night Elf never goes bears, as the orcs are already a bunch of meet, just mass Dryads, while orc supports with raiders, grunts, spirit walkers. In a mirror match, orc does not need to get walkers because the dryads will dispel instantly, just single rax Beastiary and pool to your ally allowing them to go triple lores mass dryads, and push the opponent elf with DH/Naga and BM/SH. Versus UD/NE you will want to get BM/TC for stomp, but TC HH is suggested unless you get a very anti UD/NE map like Avalanche, where your harass of BM/DH will go berserk on the opponent elf. Please note: UD/NE is assuming they Mass Hunts and fiends pool.

6. Units to get in Regular Games
I suggest a combination of raiders/grunts/spirit walkers, something like Grubby. You might think orc is hard to micro, but it's really just attack ground and micro raiders/heroes to kill the other player's heroes. (in UD's case, I suggest aiming fiends then hexing the DK so he can't heal)

By Archimonde. The guide was created on such short notice, I had to actually rewrite it once so it probably looks pretty sloppy. I might get to fixing it up if I have time. This guide is not to be copied with permission from author. Thanks, Archimonde.
