    Question Hosting Custom Games?

    ok, so i AM ABLE TO HOST games, and people can somewhat join. however, when people join (and i CAN SEE when they join), where the downloading number would be (0-100, where you see how far you are to downloading the map), there is a "?"

    this has been happening for months now, and when people try to join, i see them on the screen, but they get an error message saying they cant join

    i've hosted before, my firewall is turned off, my router has the ports unlocked, etc. but people still cant join my games

    if anyone has any idea what the hell is going on, help is extremely appreciated!

    Bad connection? The ? mark means they can't even start the downloading of the map. Meaning there is (though you said you already checked) a problem with your firewall or problem with ports. Try resetting router by unplugging then plugging back in or hitting reset button on main modem. Good luck.

    routers also have firewalls sometimes.
    there must be sometime blocking your connection between you and them! or must be a unbelievable slow connection.

    speedtest.net says:
