i need a usable maphack for wc3 =(

sorry if im a little impatient but im getting really annoyed =(

so a couple months ago my SF MH stopped working, when i turn on the hack after loading the game, it says the hack is on, going into the game, nothing shows. i dont have PID error, i use windows xp, i have latest version of both wc3 (1.21) and SF maphack. my friend's mh works fine, not for me =(

so i try all these other hacks on this forum, nothing works either, when i turn them on, go into game, i see no changes at all. the only thing different is zerocraft hack, but the problem is the game crashes (fatal error) when i hit Inject DLL. the readme says this is caused by the use of windows vista and user has to run the program as administrator. well, i am not using windows vista, im using xp, so i dont know why it doesnt work and crashes.

You have some spyware or virus on your computer disabling some Windows features hacks need.

Just reinstall Windows and the problem will be solved. Finding the individual spyware/virus will take the same amount of time (installing virus scanners,scanning ,e.t.c)

could it be something related to data execution prevetion (DEP)? i remember fiddling with the program the nite before mh was broken. :frown:

Yes that's a very high possibility, i would advice to "un-fiddle" what you messed with and try again. If that doesn't work you can always learn to play simple games without hacks??
