Rep Power: 1 | | | Delay reducer Using the delay reducer you can reduce Warcraft III's default delay of 250ms to any value you wish. No longer will the host have an advantage over others. This program to reduce delays is completely free. You can also use the delay reducer for other software, I however really like using it for Warcraft 3 to make the games less laggy with less delay. When I reduce the delay people usually like joining my games again and again. VT Software - Downloads | | D3scene |

Rep Power: 3 | | | Yeah, but you need a good connection to host with like 35 ms etc... else everyone in your game get disconnected. |

Rep Power: 3 | | | If you use this program and type in 100 ms delay it's like LC.
@LoveYou]: If you have 100ms ping to host with banlist, you'll have 50 ms ping with LC... (Check it youself, you'll see...)
In fact, you have to multiply all LC ping values by 2 when comparing to banlist ping... This means I just killed the myth that LC reduces your ping.

Rep Power: 1 | | Go host a game of dota with delay set on 250, click to walk back and forth and notice the delay, change it to 50 you will see the delay go away. |

Rep Power: 3 | | | GGC is already optimized to 90 (100? not sure) ms. So the answer is no, and I won't need it either. If it lags on GGC it's probably just a bad host. |

Rep Power: 1 | | | LC is 100ms (because LAN is default 100, bnet is 250).
Set this to 80-100. I have the same connection and it works fine on those settings. |

Rep Power: 1 | | Notes:
If Host sets latency to 100ms for commands or actions using this tool then for all players will have the same or players can set it for themselves.
Only hosts will always have 0 latency advantage for reaction time and that cannot be changed but this does'nt include the internet latency.
Players have a ~250ms default for WC3 Bnet and 100ms default for LAN for Commands and Actions or reaction time.
Considering the above... your latency is for example 80ms, add 250ms (from what was set above) then:
330ms is your actual latency! (or 335ms if your monitors latency is 5ms)
Latency should'nt be set more then 250ms and should be no less then 100ms for hosts to respond but maybe you might get a very good host with less then 50ms; whereby you maybe able to set latency equivilent to host ping!
Do not forget that spikes can be deadly... if you cannot respond in time you maybe kicked and thats why... it is safe to use no less then 100ms.
Hosts Advantage can be minimized:
Host 0 ms reactin time and 50ms ping to host.
Your latency set to 50ms for reaction time and another 50ms for your ping
So Hosts will only have a 50ms advantage thats 1/20 of a second!
This allows you to perform ~20 actions in 1 second max but not all can do 20 in 1 sec so we use our preception abilities in advance to attain victory and be glorious or be glorified with god like killing streaks.
Human Ability:
The human reaction time from mind to body is from 200ms to 270ms and A well trained part of the body can react as fast as atheletes (150ms).
This means upto 3.7 - 6.6 actions per second but with knowledge, preception, intuition and prediction; the body can do much more actions per second.
Typists average is 8-11 letters a second and that shows its working. (60-75 WPM)
I hope my feedback helped. Well Good Luck.
