Running 2 Wc3 TFT's on one computer

I found out how to get multiple WC3 TFT running on the same computer.

You need:
- at least 2 ROC keys
- at least 2 TFT keys
-A programm i got

Besides it's also possible with the loader Alpha_hacka made, which is probaly what Stroh got his hands up, most download links for it is down, but I can probaly upload it again.

I prefer doing it without programs though ;b the same way I can have 3 messengers on etc.

Yes, but as WC3 was opened, I couldn't change the CD-Key.

You'll have to install it with new keys, and then use this method, if you want to be on BNet at same time

You don't need any program to do this nor do you need to click properties like someone else said.

If you do not have a second windows account on your computer or do not know the password then do this

1) Goto control panel and click "User Accounts"

2) Make a new account and make sure you make a password for it

3) Rename your Warcraft III folder to anything you wish.

4) Install Warcraft III again with a different cd-key

5) Run either of the Warcraft III's

6) Goto the other Warcraft III folder once your other Warcraft III is running. Right click Warcraft III.exe or Frozen Throne.exe and click "Run As".

7) Click the 2nd option "Run as following user" Type in the username//password.

Your done, you can connect to battle.net using Warcraft III twice. I'm not sure if this works on Vista.

It doesn't work on Vista. If it does, I can't get it to work >_< Anyway, is there a way, you can do it on Vista?

For vista Make a new windows account...

Goto command prompt and type

runas /noprofie /user:accountyoujustmade "C\Program Files\Warcraft III\Frozen Throne.exe"

Then get a password prompt type password, although your password won't show up while typing it in which is normal. After that it should run but I'm not sure. If that doesn't work for Vista I'm lost but for people using XP read my last post on page 2, that will work 100%.

There isn't a "run as" on vista, only run as administrator. Anyway, do you know the "properties" way?

I type in runas /noprofie /user:accountyoujustmade "C\Program Files\Warcraft III\Frozen Throne.exe and a command prompt come, I write a password, But I can't see what I write tho. I press enter. And that's it.

Nothing shows up after that and no Warcraft III doesn't pop up? Make sure your putting a " after .exe and an actual account name you made. If that doesn't work then I'm not sure how to do it on Vista but I'll look into it further later.

Are you actually typing accountyoujustmade? Your suppose to make a new windows account and make a password for it. Then replace accountyoujustmade with the account you just made....Then when it asks for a password enter the password for that account.

Yes, I am sure. I even looked at user account and it's there. I try on my brother's XP computer, and see if I did it correct.
