Rep Power: 0 | | | Warcraft 3 tiehack Well, Many people don't know what tiehack is or what it does. So i'll explain it:
- Tiehack is a hack (or a added feature to a hack) Which let's you tie the game mostly by causing a desync which will make the game unsure about whos playing legit, And therefor tie the game, Which is basicly why it's working for 2's, 3's, 4's If your ally/allies got it aswell.
- Tiehack for Solo
Many people downloaded/used a tiehack, first sometimes in at and saw it worked. Then got curious and wanted to try it out in solo.
Suddenly they got a win, tie, or just a loss. If they got a win or a tie, They don't even bother to test it again before they start spamming me with "OMG ITS A WINHACK/TIEHACK IN SOLO". Which is one of the reasons for me too write this, To educate thoose who are unaware or just wish to know more about tiehack itself, Or how to use it properly.
In Solo it works once, or maybe more if you are lucky - Per account!
This is as i've said because of the method it uses. Desync, In solo battle.net sees this and saves the information of your account to prevent it happening again (after you tiehacked in solo once, They save the info so next time you just get a loss).
- How to get a win using tiehack:
IF you use tiehack and are in an arranged team game. And one of the enemies left/disconnected, And you use the tiehack you will get a win. Since it's 2 versus 1 Battle.net will think that the team consisting of only 1 player is the one doing an illegal action and therefor discing him, (Read more on the Desync information)
- Playing versus other tiehackers:
When you face other people using tiehack (Unit Control based one) You will not be able to tie the game if all players have it enabled. But then you will be able to control their units, use their items, choose spells, move workers etc.
-> How to win such games:
- If playing vs undead, And if he go DK/Lich just choose Death Pact or Death Ritual on DK/Lich as main spell for your enemies. Use the spell(s) to kill their fiends/other units. Remember to do this when DK got like 98% HP or Lich got as much mana as possible, Else you will be helping them.
Ofcourse this works vs all other races, I,e potm: scout, kotg; aura, dh; immolation (just activate and deactivate it until he is out of mana). DL; vamp aura, mk; clap (same as dh, use it when their hero is out of battle so it has no effect on you).
- If playing elf: Just detonate all of his whisps and hes owned.
- If playing Orc: Burrows, Take the peons inside the burrows so he dont get any resources.
- If playing hu: Spam "Call to arms" on your enemy. Then he will not gain any resources.
Overall: Use enemy tp, pots, scrolls, when it's not needed for them. So they will just waste it! Choose wrong spells to make their heroes more useless etc.
Hero killing: To own enemy heroes simply drop one of your own items. And select the enemy hero, Mass right click on the item until he come to pick it up. (Make sure ur army is right next to the item) His hero will walk all the way trough map if you want him too. Make sure you spam with clicking so he wont move it himself back to his base.
- What is a unit control based tiehack?
This is the most common one, Public available for the most of the time, It's when you use enemy spells or so to tie the game.
- Is there any other tiehacks?
Yes there is. But they are in private hacks which costs money, And theese tiehacks will even tie the game vs Unit Control Based tiehackers.
A F T E R W O R D S Wrote this in a rush, Hope it's to any help to anyone using tiehack and wanted more info about it. Or too become better at using it.
I've written it as "noob" friendly as possible. Using easy words and explanations.
Regards, Bendik! | | D3scene |

A example:
when its 2v2 (i mean 2 tiehackers vs 2 tiehackers) and you are about to lose... You can put tiehack off (your ally too) so then its 0v2 (0 tiehackers vs 2 tiehackers). When the enemy use tiehack it will be TIED
your ally and yourself need to do it both off nor if someone have it faster off (1v2)... and the enemy use tiehack then its 1v2 (your ally disc or you, the one who have tiehack off)
So its smart to count for tiehack off... or just Ts/Vent =) |

And by what you mean, You "Start" tiehack? Pressing the key (ctrl+11) doesnt start it. But it kinda DOES it.
And if your ally doesnt have zMap. Then you just get disconnected. As it's not a unit control based one it wouldnt work if he had L2HMap for example. |
