 Account security hello guys as many of you may know i am hosting a WoW video contest the person that wins gets a free account with a lvl80 on it and what not recently i got a email showing this  theres parts on the email that look like this  BLIZZARD DOES NOT HAVE A 3HR BANN! looks pretty damn legit dont it so i click the whole verify your account crap took me here  i entered the info like my account name and password then took me here  i entered all my info and what not then it hit me blizzard recently posted about the spoof emails thingy so i called them up just to see if this was a legit email because the emailer that sent it to me was from noreply@blizzard.com he told me that Blizzard does NOT HAVE A 3HR BANN he also said BLIZZARD WILL NEVER ASK U FOR YOUR EMAIL as u can see since they already emailed you why would they need it again lol DO NOT FALL FOR THIS GUYS! | Okay well we have to admit no scam is perfect(every scam has its "weakness")but this is a damn good one.I bet the guy got many accounts with it. If you are not sure about a mail like this,do the following:just look at the punishment..3 hours?wait why to risk your account for only 3 hours?And if they ban you for the respective time and then send the message again saying that the will ban you for more if you don't do what the say...yea its blizzard(remember if it is a scammer,he cant ban you or even know if you were banned).This is an easy way to figure out if is a scam or not(but i don't realy recomend this if the punishment would be permanent closure) I hope i helped  |
