I do not think that it will be a WoW client on the iPhone. Think of it. How big is your WoW folder on your PC? It's like 20GB's big.

I heard of this before, and i tihnk it will be sort of streaming from a PC to the iPhone.
You play the game on the computer, through the iPhone, using live streaming from the PC to the iPhone.

That would probably be way to laggy to be worth it. Not to mention the graphics will probably suck.

The iPhone doesn't have the hardware power to play WoW. Now, WoW isn't the most demanding game out there, but processors measured in MHz and RAM in MB isn't even close to it's minimum requirements.

If anything it would be a streaming program, but really, the screen isn't large enough for all that much, the only thing it would be good for (imo) is checking the AH or doing some selling. If it is a streaming program, It will be useless unless you are near a WiFi node, as 3G doesn't have the bandwidth to play the game properly.

Even in a streaming setup, you will be bottlenecked by the connection, as transfer speeds on a wireless connection vs a Harddisk on a computer are much slower.

Absolutely pointless imo.

Edit- Did some research on the company shown at the beginning of the video "Vollee". They apparently no longer even exist, their website is offline, and their phone numbers are disconnected.

yea it is really pointless idea, just try to picture raiding with those controls. Maybe if there was a whole new MMORPG game made for the iphone then it might work.

A 3G connection has enough bandwidth to play WoW I can still play WoW perfectly fine on a GPRS connection.

I've played wow on my ipod touch, all you have to do is download this specific server application on the ipod and on your computer and it creates remote access to your pc and then you just run wow from your ipod and your set
