Based on the TOM_RUS patch

What is this Repack ?

It's a Fast, Simple & Easy Installer for create your own WotLK MaNGOS Test Server Client 3.0.1.8634 !
It's a base which will be used for the people who want to make test or to allow other people to also make some. Thus we all will be able to advance more quickly.

Which components must I have on my computer before using the MSI:

Navicat or SysLog (as you want - optionnal)
MySQL 5.x
Client WotLK 3.0.1.8634
Windows Installer 3.1
Net Framework 2.0

Do i need to delete my previous version?

Yes i need, because this last MSI include all new fixes and new stuff (Installer and Updater for Core ad DataBase)

I need to download a database, a core, or an another thing in order to create my server ?

NO, you don't need to download an another thing . All you need is in this package !

Have you a easy way to configure ? what must I do to be able to start my server ?

When you Install/Re-Install Mysql 5.x and you create the login & password for MySQL, choose :

6/ Configuring your Mangos server settings

By default for all, the login is root and the password is mangos.

Code:

- In your C:\Program Files\MaNGOS WotLK folder open mangosd.conf.
- Find 127.0.0.1;3306;root;mangos;realmd and change the text (root:mangos) to your MySQL password.
- Find 127.0.0.1;3306;root;mangos;mangos and change the text (root:mangos) to your MySQL password.
- Find 127.0.0.1;3306;root;mangos;characters and change the text (root:mangos) to your MySQL password.

7/ Configuring your Mangos and scriptdev2 realm settings...

By default for all, the login is root and the password is mangos.

Code:

- In your C:\Program Files\MaNGOS WotLK folder open realmd.conf.
- Find 127.0.0.1;3306;root;mangos;realmd and change the text (root:mangos) to your MySQL password.
- In your C:\Program Files\MaNGOS WotLK folder open scriptdev2.conf.
- Find 127.0.0.1;3306;root;mangos;scriptdev2 and change the text (root:mangos) to your MySQL password.

8/ Launch the Restarter which will Start realmd.exe and mangosd.exe

9/ Creating a new account name

Default accounts are:

In mangosd.exe dos window, press enter to get a mangos> prompt and type
create accountname password (change accountname and password to the name & password you want to use).
setgm accountname 3 (If you want to allow the account access to GM commands).

(Optional) Delete Default Accounts

In mangosd.exe dos window, press enter to get a mangos> prompt and type
delete accountname (change accountname to the name of the Account you want to delete).

10/ Making WOTLK Client 8634 point to your Mangos server

Code:

    - Open your WOTLK Client folder and edit realmlist.wtf using notepad.
    - Add # at the start of both lines to comment each line out.
    - Add a new line with the words set realmlist 127.0.0.1

11/ Start WOTLK client 8634 and login with the username and password you created.

You can see the CHANGELOG (by default: C:\Program Files\MaNGOS WotLK\CHANGELOG.txt).

All I keep getting is "unable to connect" when I use an email, When I use a normal account (No e-mail) it does'nt even find it it says "The information you have entered is not valid." What do I do?!

Try redownloading the installer or try running the installer in safe mode. I have to do that for a few setups myself

Here 's my problem. I've made all it's said in the tuto but when I try to go to Bc or Northrend, I can't. It's says thaht I must install BC but I have it.

Someone can help me ?

Hello je pense peut-être pouvoir t'aider, en fait il faut activer Burning Crusade sur ton compte via une commande dans la console de "Mangosd"

La seule que j'ai trouvé et qui je pense peut t'aider c'est "setbc administrator 1" (Si ton ndc n'est pas Administrator tu devras surement y remplacer par ton ndc mais je n'ai pas testé).

En espèrant avoir pu t'aider.

This repack is VERY fishy , I suggest you not to download it , because my anti virus detected a lot of trojans on the .exe files. Use it on your own risk. (I think this is a more like "steal wow acc's" repack)

I made everything with intructions I logged in and it wanted me to select server type i selected normal english it asked me to accept login into ManGos server i choosed ok, then there was message "logging into the server" for few seconds and it came back to the realm list... What should I do

I have a problem with my server, when i'm trying to attack a mob that have no reaction and her life is re-generated to 100 percent.
I have download the Repack in this thread however and follow instructions.

I'm having an interesting problem. When I start in the DK area i'm stuck. and when i try to leave or go anywhere it says "you must have the burning crusade installed to access this area" I have opened the mangosd.config and made sure the expansion is set to 1. any ideas?

Just go on your realmd db, account tab and set the column TBC to "1". Make sure to create accounts
with this column=1.

Hi!
I'm new to the forums and i'm here because i have an install issue..i extracted maps, i pressed Install AllDatabases and i follow the prompt..when i pres 1+Enter(ready to install?) it says i have to reinstall MSI cause i have something wrong..
Maybe is the first prompt line MySQL Host Name? It says it's 'localhost' by Default but it's the only value i dunno where it come from..any help?
