| WotLK Build 8714 [BETA] As you may know, the latest build was released no so long ago, and this has brought problems for server admins and clients (i being both XD) First off i followed instuctions to set up a WotLK server, all works fine except im WotLK 8714 and not the one below - i dont know how to downgrade without reinstalling Then i looking for mangos with 8714 but to no avail ----------- Does anyone know a] if mangos has/shortly will release a core for 8714 or b] how to downgrage WotLK without reinstall - i only need to remove a 20mb patch! (clever blizz - the repair doesnt work either)  |

| a)No not yet. b)I just reinstalled... the same thing happened to me! Another thing if u didn't notice when the latest patch was installed .... a file was installed called "background downloader"....... i'm thinking this is their "fix" for everyone that has a private servers up where they're starting WoW with just the plain WoW.exe or not, but it just seemed odd to me. I read somewhere that they're trying to fix this so it doesn't matter where or what way you start WoW that it will update to the latest patch!! |
