Super fast WoW leveling?

I was just playing wow (on retail server) and this guy just started to lvl up every 1-2 seconds and he went from lvl 25 to 40! How?? He wasn't near a NPC and he wasn't doing anything. I don't think he or any of hes friends that were there are GMs.
After that everyone was saying WTF, OMG, HOW??? and something like that but I had to go and I don't know what happened after.

Is this some kind of an exploit or?

alot of people use the recruit a friend to get a huge boost in exp by recruiting all their friends(and probably paying for extra accounts on their own) for a boost in exp since it stacks.

dont know if its possible they used that to get from lvl 25 to 40 that quickly but i dont know any other way they could have.

It's RAF, plain and simple. you get 30 free levels (if I remember correctly) if you start 2 characters at level 1 and go to level 60

So with RAF you can instantly level 30 levels any time any where?

Only after you have already leveled one character (If I'm remembering correctly)

the process was something like..... level from 1 to 6 on one character, have 3 levels to give away.

it goes like this raf allows the recruite to give lvls to ur toons so basically every two lvls that he gets he can give one lvl to you. the only drawback is that u can only give lvls to soemone up to ur current lvl cause if not u could easily make a whole bunch of lvl 8s and have a friend run them through instances with the 300% exp getting em to 20ish and granting a but load of lvls
