use/console pitchlimit 1000 and it works, I've done it on 2.3.0. It rocks, kind of hard to control though adn you back right way up when your not moving, but it still rocks

the REAL value is 900, I use it to get cool screenshots of my char and for seeing the world upside down...

You can also use Insert to make a forward loop and delete to do a backflip no need to mod the values (or was it page up and page down? )

Actually, it has just been updated (Check when it was last edited). Also, this was just posted into the Super Thread, so it was not gravedigging at all.
