Emerald Dream?

Seen lots of videos on youtube but none of them show exactly how to get there, anyone know how this is done?

I've only seen this on some private server with teleporters, its very big land, but its not on the map anywhere, like an instance, but I dont know the coords to port here

You can't get there on live.

lol, i think Blizzard should open the Emreald Dream on live servers, put disable ability to hearth or get summoned/queued or anthing else out of it, so people could acutally get lost in there, rofl eh?

I don't think Ysera would take too kindly to a bunch of Warcraft players running around her realm shouting lol every 5 seconds. It loses its unique appeal if it gets made it to a free and open location.

just use the actual emerald dream portal areas (Feralas, Hinterlands, Duskwood, and Ashenvale) as an entrance area

Duskwood- Maps - World of Warcraft

Hinterlands- Maps - World of Warcraft

Ashenvale- Maps - World of Warcraft

Feralas- Maps - World of Warcraft

nah, just make a portal at the top of each set of stairs, and put a level requirement on it

I wished they will open it .... but there not ..... i dont know why.... i just dont get it why they spend so much money on makeing new land thats not touched yet(Hyjal MT, Emerald Dreams , Programmers Isle, Designers Isle, GM Box, Old GM islend (South of Tanaris), Old Outland ( Removed from Game), Outland testing Grounds (Deadmines), far west in Wetlands with those 60+ elites) there is tons of area in the game thats not opened or will never be opened to the game..... iv seen Emerald Dreams .... and all the places that are there are all on 1 map and each one is not even compleated.... well if they do open Emerald Dreams .. it mite be in 7-12 years....

most of those places are specifically for blizz staff, and were never meant to be in game anyways.

they put the nightmare dragons up to guard Emerald Dreams ... but there not even open ...

Do you have to be the GM of the server in order to do this? And do you have to use a portal to get there or can you just know the coords and use a emu hack to fly there?

Thanks..sorry for the n00bish question just curious..

And can you get to GM island and stuff the same way? I have only been there once and that was when I was experimenting with my own server..however I suppose even if you could get there you would be murdered if you werent a GM.

Last Q..are there any servers updated to 2.4 that are "everyones a Gm"?

before TBC the dark portal was the same "a dead portal" i think i will active them soon just a theory of mine

Sorry to bump and old topic, but you used to be able to get to Emerald Dream by way of instance switching. Scholo -> ED was the most popular way of getting to ED. There was another way where you switched EPL -> ED, but you had to stand at a certain spot or you'd fall through the world (the spot was near the ziggernaughts).

Anyways, I haven't seen a model edit hack for the new version of WoW or if it is even possible to do it still. But it was possible. Nogga-holic required a similiar way when you had to take a SS of yourself standing under the twin dragons in Azshara crator.

That's a simple ADT swap. You're not in the real Emerald Dream, just the ground tiles are swapped with the Emerald Dream ones (or Azshara Crater).
