I've been working on some custom mounts and heres what I got:

TigerMount.jpg - Image - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

RaptorMount.jpg - Image - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Bearmount.jpg - Image - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

These are only some of them, I'll will post more later.
Also if you need help give me a private whisper and I'll help you or just post on this thread.

    Thanks!

Im going to tell you guys how to make.

Ok the 1st step go find a beast or any other type of animal you like.
    (Wowhead: It's all about elegance.)

2nd, get the ID of the creature (Ex. 11909 Witch is the bear)

3rd, go into game and type ".npc spawn (ID#)"

4th, the creature is spawn, click on it and type ".npc info"

5th, scroll up in till you see yellow lettering, it will have DisplayID: (id#)

6th, take that ID# and click on your face and type .mount ID# (The one you got from DisplayID)

And theres how you make the mount.

If you want to keep a mount make a macro ".mount ID# (The on you got from DisplayID)" and another macro ".dismount".

So there you have it you will be able to dismount and mount on your custom mount, you can do this with any NPC as long as you follow these steps.

Please if there is any problems contact me.

also called model change, but you shouldn't do model change anymore, blizz can detect it now, and as it is illegal, you may get banned, and also, dont dubble post, use the edit option

Um, but he is talking about doing it for his own wow server, so blizzard is gonna have trouble banning you from your own server.

    Ehm, no. You can't.
The arbitrary MPQs themselves are not detectable for now.
But yes, it is illegal, but Warden does not check for MPQs now, even though WoW can only read patch-4.MPQ.
So all in all, you have about 1% chance of getting banned for a normal mount swap. Never say never.
More on topic: one of my first mount edits.
