Before you read this, I simply like to ask for some feedback by posting something, whether it be positive or negative, I would still like to know what you think of it.

This is tested and it works perfectly for me, so you try and it will work for you.

For this to work, you will need at least one trial account already set up as soon as you finish the scam and your friend irl to help make sure you wont get banned (non irl friends can be untrustowrthy for this). Once you are done scamming on your main account, quickly delete the character and log onto your trial account and make the character with the exact same name.
Log onto him and go to the closest major city (make sure the trial account char looks exactly the same as the one that you just deleted.) And now log off until I say so.

Now this is where ou friend comes in.
Have your friend type /2 in a city and say, "WTF did anyone else just get scammed by (characters name), if you did plz tell me cuz i found a way to get back at him!" Once the person sees this, he will reply to your friend saying, "omg, he scammed you too? no worries tho, i alrdy reported him"
At this point, your friend needs to tell him to wait aminute on the reported and lets find a way to get back at him. have your friend tell him to add your name to his friends list because when he comes back online then you can threaten to ban him, and demand your gold back now. If the person is smart, and they say" well, won't this guy have just deleted his char or decide to not go back on anymore?" Have your friend tell him that you have seen him many times on that character before and that he logs off for about 15 min for every time he scams then comes back online to scam again.

Once he has added you to his friends list, wait like 2 min, the come back online and he should whisper you. Normally you cant talk to a higher lvl unless they are on your friends list, but since he is, then you can.

Wait until he is done yelling and demanding his gold back, then simply do whatever you want, call him a noob, say haha you got scammed! or whatever floats your boat.

Now he will report you, but this time, when the GM sees that he last talked to you on the trial account, he will ban the trial account and not your main
Have fun

problem will then be getting back your old main character, unless it was a lowbie character that you don't really care about.

lol a few things to say about this.
1) If you do ever get reported and blizzard can be bothered to look into it they just look into the records and see which account was used to do the scam. They can literally track everything you do so it wouldn't really work!
2) Don't know what you're on about when you said you can't talk to high lvls unless they are on your friends list :S!
3) You don't usually have to worried about getting banned at all as i have had many friends who've been scammed big time and all blizz say is that you should be more careful when trading with other players!

Yeah blizzard will track you, if they wanted to and they would, they would have everything single thing of what you had done. It may confuse them, but they usually get down to the bottom of things.
