[GUIDE] Accessing your router to forward ports

This is easier then you may think. Simply follow this guide.

1. Press Start -> Run.. -> Type 'cmd' (without parentheses)

2. Type 'ipconfig (without parentheses)

3. You will usually get..

Code:
IP Address . . . . . . ???????
Subnet Mask . . . . . . ??????
Default Gateway . . . . . ?????
4. Well, to access your router, go into your Internet browser and type in your default gateway.

Most routers are on default protected by a password. Here is a list of what the account/passwords are for certain router.

TYPE | NAME | PASSWORD
Linksys | admin | admin
LANplex | tech | tech
Other | admin | none

This site also may help you, just select your router type and it will supply the DEFAULT account information (if you changed it, you're own your own!)
