Hello, many people leveled inscription then wotlk released, some leveled now.
Half of people with inscription just sits with shoulder enchant and don't know how or don't want to make gold.
Inscription is great way to make thousands of gold. Offcourse you will have to invest first. Money makes money. At the time there are 400+ different glyphs every one is used by skilled players or newbies.
So every time someone decides to respect level alts etc. They will need new glyphs and this is the part there we - scribes make money.

What you will need:
Inscription offcourse. You can make gold froom level 1 inscription because there always are some glyphs that give profit.
Starting money (if you have high inscription): 100-∞g.
Herbalism is not required if you will buy herbs/ink/pigments from AH
Addons:

* AuctionMaster
* KC_Items/AuctionSpy

And

Let's Start:
So lets say you- scriber have 400+ inscription

You can make allready many MANY glyphs.
And create random Darkmoon Card of the North

To make anything you'll need ink and paper.
best ink is one and thats the cheapest:
Ink of the Sea its made from Azure Pigment and pigment is obtainable by milling:
Icethorn
Lichbloom
Adder's Tongue
Constrictor Grass
Goldclover
Deadnettle
Tiger Lily
Talandra's Rose

You say that for some glyphs you need not Ink of the Sea? No you just need to make a lot of ink of the sea then go to Dalaran and visit Jessica Sellers She sells all inks for 1 Ink of The sea
And Snowfall ink cost 10 Ink of the Sea


So there are 3 ways to get Ink of The Sea:
Go buy/farm:
Pigment
Allready crafted ink
Herbs, after you get mill and craft ink of the sea.

Personally i buy 100-300 stacks of Adder tongue every 2-3 day. if i have no ink i buy additional.


How to know what glyphs to create and what will give me profit *

* At the end of guide ill add list with glyphs that sold good for one person.

At this part Lil'Sparky addon is very helpfull, because you can save a lot of time by just scroling down your list to see what glyphs sell good, and not to search glyphs in AH 1 by one.
Then you add Lilsparky addon to your addon folder and launch wow it will scan all your tradeskills, and auction house addon (auctioneer).
After that just open your inscription window:

SO COOL ya? Most of glyphs cost more than 10g on AH ^^

So craft all glyphs that are 10g+

This part is for you ONLY IF you bought/farmed herbs and milled them, you should have made a lot of ink of the sea.
And you also should have Icy Pigment which is used to craft Snowfall ink
And Snowfall ink is used for making few BOE epic's (not usefull no one buys them) AND Darkmoon Card of the North
It produces 1 Random card of noble/of prisms/of undeath/of chaos.
People still buy them.
Of noble on my server goes for 400-500+g. others 40-80g.
So its additional way to make gold.

For 1 Card you will need
Resilient Parchment
Snowfall Ink (6)
Eternal Life (3)
Ink of the Sea (3)

If you have milled herbs you only will need Eternal life and paper.

Thats if you lucky 500g per 5sec.

Okay so you have crafted a lot of glyphs, now most boring part (you will need to do this only 1 time)

Open your bank alt or character that has all your crafted glyphs and go to auction house, open tab appraiser

And start posting glyphs.

Then i first started my glyph business i had about 100 auctions at AH. But my income was 10-50g ONLY every day. After few weeks I am pulling 1.5k-3k gold DAILY, just by creating and posting glyphs.

Then you start other scribes will undercut you but after some time they'll stop if you wont surrender at this cruel AH fight.

That -1700 is to my friend i borrowed few weeks ago.
So 5k gold is nice

Thats about 3000 gold from glyphs and 2000+ from darkmoon cards.

Some math:
I spend about 1400g/100 stacks of adder tongue and 10g/each eternal life.
+ Paper few hundred gold
1400g for 3 days of ink and ~400g for eternal life.

REMEMBER: Glyphs will have huge increase in customers, because next patch gives lower level mounts and cheaper so many people will start leveling alt's and glyphs will sell like a charm
Yesterday from those glyphs i posted i didint got very much gold about 900g, Thats because i posted it very late and got undercut few times and then cancelled all and finally posted again at 12:00 at night and went to sleep. And from darkmoon cards about 1100g
Thats good for me


Edit 2: Suggestion: Buy Book of Glyph Mastery if they are cheap and you have extra gold. Additional glyphs are always good.
