In-game skin/tooltip switch

Now modelediting is getting nerfed memory editing will rise ! Here I will learn you how easy it is to change skins of weapons/mounts/.... so let's start !

Ok, we are on our character, CE 5.3 is running and now we got like one problem, how can we find the weapon model id ? Easy ! Websites like allakazham / Thottbot have storages from this list. So let's begin. Like you can see on the image my weapon is Blade of the Unyielding.

Let's look this up at allakazham. Searchbox,...,... and then I came out on the page :

We only need the number after witem= so for my weapon I got 29108.

Now we must have a model number of the weapon we want to switch to. For a classic change I use Thunderfury ;-)

So thunderfury his number is 19019. Ok, now the part were we are going to change the 2. Let's scan for our first number (2910

in 4bytes. I got like 20 results and I wait for 5 sec and do a next scan for exact the same value. Now I got like 5 results. Put these 5 addresses in your code list and do a massa edit to the thunderfury model id (19019). These 5 addresses contained the weapon id, the character view id,...

So not only did the memory edit change the skin, but also the tooltips etc. This is another reason why memory editing is better
